Asbestos Removal Operative – Environmental Services Department

About the role

As an asbestos removal operative, you will be a key member of our environmental services department, which specialises in removing asbestos, PCBs and other hazardous substances. You will work on a variety of projects, helping to ensure that remediation work is carried out correctly and safely in close collaboration with colleagues and project managers.

Your responsibilities

Carrying out asbestos removal in accordance with applicable legislation and safety procedures
Preparing work areas and putting up appropriate safety signage
Handling and disposing of hazardous waste
Documenting work and participating in quality management processes (KLS)
Working with site foremen and project managers

What we are looking for

A valid asbestos removal training certificate
Experience in environmental remediation, preferably with a focus on asbestos
A category B driving licence, preferably with category BE entitlement for towing trailers
A basic understanding of workplace health and safety
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
The ability to communicate in spoken English as a minimum; spoken Danish is an advantage
